Genta Honnoh
Size: 6.0 x 6.5 cm

"I just want to make a big sculpture. If possible, don't spend too much money."
From around 2003, he started making sculptures with cardboard.
It started from "without spending money", but he made sculptures with cardboard because the rugged and uncontrollable unbalanced atmosphere made with cardboard matched what I wanted to make. I continue to do that.

I didn't think too much about it, but the brooch had the advantage of being able to wear the work and feel closer to it. Also, by attaching the magnet to a refrigerator in any home, you can feel the work closer to you.

Both brooch magnets are shaped with cardboard and painted with acrylic paint. Acrylic paint is water resistant when it dries, and since it is coated with plenty of acrylic paint, it will be messy even if it gets wet with a little rain.

Genta Honnoh

Since 2003, he has been focusing on delicate and rough "cardboard sculpture", which is molded from cardboard and colored with acrylic paint.
