A children's book from 1962, created through a collaboration between the young Aquirax Uno and Tadanori Yokoo, has been reprinted
This is a reprint of a collaboration picture book published in 1962 by Aquirax Uno and Tadanori Yokoo.
The two young people, who were working at the Nippon Design Center at the same time, planned a picture book. I asked Yusuke Kaji, a senior copywriter at the company, to write the text.
The story of how he met a girl who appeared on a white yacht on the day of a festival in a foreign port town not even on the map begins with Yokoo's illustrations printed in red and black, and as he approaches the center of the book, the illustrations are printed in blue. It overlaps with Uno's illustrations, and eventually ends in Uno's world of blue and black. By layering red and blue cellophane, one of the pictures and letters disappears while the other emerges. Yusuke Kaji's multiple stories are expressed in an experimental design.
This is a reprint of a picture book that was published in 1962 and is now a fantasy.
Comes with red and blue colored cellophane and an explanation sheet.
