Collection: Maya Nukumizu

We’re excited to introduce the works and goods of artist Maya Nukumizu, now available at LUCKYRECORDS for the first time.

Deeply influenced by manga culture since childhood, Nukumizu studied under Keiichi Tanaami during her university years and is now actively presenting her work both in Japan and internationally.

Her compositions — layered with vibrant colors and manga-inspired imagery — are richly detailed and densely packed, reflecting a pop, maximalist sensibility. Within them, unseen traces and latent narratives unfold, forming energetic and immersive worlds.

Her distinctive visual language has also attracted attention from musicians, leading to collaborations across genres, including CD jacket artwork for Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku and Macaroni Empitsu.

This time, we are pleased to present a selection including her latest zine, a sticker set, and rare original drawings.
