The culmination of contemporary artist Kimiyo Mishima's creative activities spanning over 70 years!
Kimiyo Mishima (1932-), who started her career as a contemporary artist in the 1950s, has created objects such as "breakable printed matter" made of ceramics, empty cans, and cardboard as her subject matter during her creative activities spanning over 70 years. He has created many masterpieces, including works made from iron scraps and scrap wood that he collected himself, and has amazed those who see them. This book is a collection of works that introduces Kimiyo Mishima's creative journey from her early days to the present day with approximately 90 works.
These works, which combine a harsh look at the negative aspects of modern society such as the overflow of information, mass consumption, and garbage issues, with Mishima's unique sense of playfulness, are powerful works that address more familiar and pressing social issues today. I'm sure it will be accepted.
